Sell on Spoonflower.

Do you want me to tell you the secret to making a design that gets a good position in the submission to the weekly Spoonflower challenges and that is immediately sold?... keep reading... :)

I worked on this design that I show you below with a lot of care and love with acrylic paint on a physical canvas until I liked the result because, in addition, it is a painting that I made from a trip I took to Africa (I will show it to you in full) .

I later worked on it digitally until I was satisfied with the repetition and color.

Finally, I submitted it to Spoonflower's weekly Textured and Tonal Wallpaper Design Challenge, carefully thought out and filled out its metadata and tags, and shared it on social media.

It was very well received. It was not ranked among the first but it obtained a very good position, 148 out of 1479, and the next day...... it was sold. Do you know what the secret was to achieving it?

Work.... work... and work. Consistency and work.

Do you know what's important about all this? that someone saw it and liked it, two important issues: making your designs visible and sellable (in another post we will talk about how to achieve this).

Here is the link to the design in my Spoonflower store:
